Veteran & Service-Related License Plates
DMV offers veteran and service-related plates. The Ex-POW and Disabled Veteran plates are issued on the yellow background plates, while all others are issued on the Oregon Tree plates.
Some of the plates are sponsored by groups. The additional fees ($10 for a 2-year period) associated with these plates are due at original issue of registration and at each renewal period. These fees pay for the processing and issuance of the plates, with the remainder of the proceeds going to the sponsoring group.
Group plates are not available in custom (vanity or personalized) configurations. Each group may have its own qualifications and restrictions; to learn more, contact the group.
